At ChatShop.in, we’re a platform that connects buyers and sellers through WhatsApp for direct product inquiries and orders. All purchases, deliveries, and after-sale services are handled by the vendors themselves. Below are our policies regarding shipping, refunds, and returns.
1. Shipping Policy
Who Ships the Products?
All products listed on ChatShop.in are shipped directly by the respective vendors. ChatShop.in does not warehouse or dispatch any items.
Delivery Time
Delivery time depends on:
- The vendor’s location
- The buyer’s address
- The shipping method chosen between the buyer and vendor
We encourage vendors to provide estimated delivery timelines and keep buyers updated on shipping status.
Shipping Charges
Shipping fees (if any) are determined and collected directly by the vendor. Buyers should confirm all costs before placing an order.
2. Return Policy
Since ChatShop.in does not handle order fulfillment, all returns and exchanges are managed by the vendor.
Return Terms:
- Return eligibility (time limits, item condition, etc.) is set by the vendor.
- Buyers must contact the vendor via WhatsApp to initiate any return or exchange.
- Vendors are expected to clearly communicate their return policy in product listings or during buyer interaction.
Note: ChatShop.in recommends that vendors offer clear, fair return policies to build trust and repeat business.
3. Refund Policy
For Buyers (Product-Related Refunds):
Refunds are processed directly by the vendor. ChatShop.in does not collect payments and is not responsible for issuing refunds.
Common Scenarios:
- If a product is defective, damaged, or not delivered, the buyer should contact the vendor via WhatsApp.
- Refund method and timeline should be agreed upon between the buyer and vendor.
Note: Buyers should clarify refund policies with the vendor before making payment.
For Vendors (Membership Refunds):
- All vendor subscription/membership fees paid to ChatShop.in are non-refundable.
- This includes monthly plans (e.g., ₹599, ₹799, ₹999), regardless of whether the vendor uses all features or decides to discontinue early.
- Refunds will not be issued for:
- Early cancellation by the vendor
- Account suspension due to policy violations
- Lack of sales or low traffic
By subscribing to a plan, vendors agree to these terms.
4. ChatShop.in’s Role
- We are a listing and communication platform, not an online store.
- We do not take responsibility for:
- Shipping delays
- Return disputes
- Refunds or payment losses
- However, we may take action against vendors who repeatedly receive complaints (e.g., warnings, account suspension).
