Welcome to ChatShop.in (“ChatShop”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform and services. By accessing or using ChatShop.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Introduction

ChatShop.in is a multivendor product listing platform where vendors can showcase products and connect with buyers via WhatsApp for direct communication and sales. ChatShop.in acts as a facilitator and does not participate in actual transactions between buyers and vendors.

2. Vendor Accounts and Responsibilities

  • Vendors must create an account and subscribe to an appropriate plan to list their products.
  • Vendors are solely responsible for product quality, pricing, shipping, and customer service.
  • Vendors must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding their products and business practices.
  • Vendors must not list illegal products, including but not limited to weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, or any items prohibited under Indian law.
  • Return, refund, and cancellation policies must be clearly communicated by vendors to buyers. ChatShop.in is not responsible for handling refunds, returns, or disputes between buyers and vendors.

3. Buyer Use of the Platform

  • Buyers may browse products without creating an account.
  • Optionally, buyers can create an account for a better experience (e.g., saving favorite vendors or products).
  • All purchases, negotiations, payments, and issues must be handled directly between the buyer and the vendor through WhatsApp or any agreed channel.
  • ChatShop.in does not guarantee product quality, delivery timelines, or payment security.

4. Payments and Subscriptions (for Vendors)

  • Vendors must subscribe to a monthly plan to list their products, as per ChatShop’s current pricing.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once paid, except in cases where required by applicable law.
  • Failure to renew a subscription may result in suspension or removal of the vendor’s listings.
  • ChatShop.in reserves the right to update pricing and plan features with prior notice.

5. Prohibited Products and Activities

  • Vendors must not sell or promote illegal products, including narcotics, weapons, counterfeit goods, or any other banned items under Indian law.
  • Content that is obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or misleading is strictly prohibited.
  • ChatShop.in reserves the right to remove any product listings or vendor accounts found violating these rules without prior notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • ChatShop.in acts only as a listing platform and communication enabler.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, fraud, or disputes arising from interactions between buyers and vendors.
  • In no event shall ChatShop.in, its owners, employees, or partners be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

  • ChatShop.in reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account (buyer or vendor) that violates these Terms or engages in harmful activities.
  • Users may also close their accounts at any time by contacting us.

8. Changes to Terms

  • We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without notice.
  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on ChatShop.in. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thiruvananthapuram.
