Vendor Code of Conduct

Welcome to ChatShop.in!
We’re excited to have you onboard as a seller. To keep things smooth, fair, and buyer-friendly, we ask all vendors to follow this Vendor Code of Conduct.

By listing products on ChatShop.in, you agree to the following:


1. Honesty in Listings

  • All product details (description, price, images, condition) must be accurate and honest.
  • No misleading claims or fake discounts.
  • If a product is out of stock or discontinued, please remove or update the listing promptly.

2. Communication is Key

  • Respond to buyer WhatsApp messages as quickly and professionally as possible.
  • Maintain clear, respectful, and polite communication at all times.
  • Share delivery timelines, payment details, and return policies clearly with buyers.

3. Responsible Selling

  • Only list products that are legal and allowed on the platform.
  • Strictly prohibited: illegal goods, drugs, weapons, counterfeit items, or anything banned under Indian law.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your business complies with all applicable laws and tax regulations.

4. Shipping and Returns

  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of products as promised to buyers.
  • Clearly communicate your return/refund policy and handle buyer concerns professionally.
  • ChatShop.in does not handle logistics or returns on your behalf — the responsibility is yours.

5. Respect the Platform

  • No spamming, fake orders, or abuse of the listing system.
  • Don’t use ChatShop.in for unrelated or harmful activities.
  • Maintain a respectful tone in all interactions with buyers, other vendors, and the ChatShop team.

6. Keep Contact Details Updated

  • Your WhatsApp number and store details must be valid and working at all times.
  • Notify us of any changes to your contact info or business status.

7. Zero Tolerance for Fraud

  • Any attempt to deceive buyers, misuse payment links, or deliver counterfeit goods may result in account termination without refund.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or remove vendors who violate this Code or our Terms & Conditions.
